Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Location: Remote, Salary: $140,000, Day Shift, Full-Time
Our client is a global engineering company providing advanced solutions and technical expertise for demanding industrial applications. They are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Translate design specifications and code requirements into product designs for components and assemblies
- Prepare and review manufacturing drawings, calculations, test plans, and technical reports in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and customer support activities as needed
- Lead or participate in development projects to expand and improve existing and new products
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4-8 years of relevant design and analysis experience
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar solid modeling software and experience with linear stress analysis
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including rotating equipment and ASME codes
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with a continuous improvement mindset
