ETS is thrilled to be a part of the North Country MFG Day Committee, organizing a variety of events connecting local manufacturers with the community in celebration of Manufacturing (MFG) Day 2016. This week a variety of exciting events will be part of an effort to address common misperceptions about manufacturing. Manufacturers will have an opportunity to open their doors and draw attention to the outstanding opportunities that a career in manufacturing can provide, ensuring the ongoing prosperity of the industry throughout the North Country.
Established in 2012, MFG Day is an annual national event executed at the local level supported by thousands of manufacturers as they host students, teachers, parents, job seekers and other local community members at open houses, plant tours and presentations. These events are designed to showcase modern manufacturing, connect with future generations, take charge of the public image of manufacturing, and help the community thrive.
