A manufacturer operating in a regulated consumer goods industry is seeking a Production Manager to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Production Manager:
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
- Supervise, coach, and develop production staff, ensuring effective workforce management and team engagement.
- Coordinate production schedules, materials, and equipment to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Monitor inventory usage, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Drive process improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and enhance equipment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to resolve operational issues and align production with business objectives.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in regulated environments.
- At least three years of supervisory or management experience leading production teams.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, quality systems, safety practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems; experience with ERP or manufacturing execution systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
