Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: $160,000, Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Our client is a leading provider of engineering solutions and products for demanding industrial applications worldwide. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Translate contract specifications into detailed product designs for components and assemblies
- Perform advanced engineering analyses using FEA software to support design and development
- Prepare technical reports and present recommendations to optimize mechanical designs
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
- Review and approve engineering documents, drawings, and calculations for compliance and quality
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to colleagues on project tasks
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, MathCad, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong background in mechanical design, stress analysis, and FEA techniques
- Thorough understanding of engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T
