Job Location: Hybrid (Troy, NY), $100,000-$150,000+ First-Year OTE (Base + Commission), Full-Time
ETS Workforce Solutions' Pro Search division is a specialized direct-hire practice focused on high-end placements across engineering, manufacturing, finance, architecture, design, and other professional fields. We're scaling Pro Search fast, and we want you to join our team as a Professional Search Recruiter.
Your day-to-day as a Professional Search Recruiter:
- Inherit and grow existing client accounts and contribute to active team searches from day one
- Prospect, pitch, and win new direct-hire business through consultative selling and credibility
- Own client relationships end to end as the single point of accountability for your accounts
- Run full-cycle direct-hire searches from intake and sourcing through screening, interview management, offer negotiation, close, and retention follow-up
- Source and engage passive professional talent using AI tools, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Present client-ready candidates with compelling, well-prepared submittals that reflect a deep understanding of the role and the client's business
- Negotiate fees, offers, and counteroffers and close complex placements with precision
- Advise clients on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and hiring strategy
- Hit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for business development activity, submittals, placements, revenue, and quality KPIs
- Master the ETS tech stack including Bullhorn CRM, AI-powered sourcing tools, communication platforms, and Google Workspace
Your skills and experience:
- Demonstrated track record of results in sales, recruiting, business development, or account management required
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- 2+ years in a sales-driven or full-desk recruiting environment strongly preferred, ideally with direct-hire or professional search exposure
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills across phone, video, and in-person settings
- Consultative mindset with the ability to advise, influence, and problem-solve rather than just fill requisitions
- Comfortable using AI tools, CRM dashboards, and social platforms to work efficiently
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage your own pipeline and pace
- Able to work a hybrid schedule out of the Troy, NY area and travel occasionally as client relationships grow
- Motivated by uncapped commission-based earning potential
What you can expect from ETS:
- Base salary of $55,000-$65,000 plus aggressive, uncapped commission structure
