Our client is a well-established public organization and they want you to join their team as a Facilities Custodian.
Your day-to-day as a Facilities Custodian:
- Perform routine and repetitive cleaning tasks across assigned buildings following established procedures
- Maintain common areas, restrooms, offices, and high-traffic spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Complete occasional minor maintenance tasks under direct supervision or specific instructions
- Follow safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards consistently
- Assist with additional custodial and facilities-related tasks as needed
Your skills and experience:
- No prior custodial or facilities experience required
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong reliability, attendance, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and supervisor instructions
- Willingness to complete NYS fingerprinting requirements (reimbursed after 6 months of employment; not required if already cleared)
