Our Story

Built in the North Country. Rooted in community.

ETS started in 1983 in Plattsburgh, New York with a simple idea: staffing should be personal. We opened our doors to help local manufacturers find reliable workers and to help our neighbors find good jobs. That's still what we do.

Four decades later, we've grown to three offices serving Vermont, Upstate New York, and clients nationwide. We've placed over 100,000 workers. But the approach hasn't changed. We know our clients by name. We know the production floors, the office cultures, and the commuting patterns. We're not a national franchise. We're neighbors.

ETS believes in the power of being part of the community, knowing our neighbors, and volunteering in the areas we serve. Whether it's hosting fundraisers, sponsoring hiring events, or running our Ready4Real workforce development program, we show up.
