1st Shift Rewind Operator

Job Location: In-Person, Cohoes, NY, $18/hour, Full-Time, 1st Shift
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company specializing in printed and packaged products, and they want you to join their team as a Rewind Operator.
Your day-to-day as a Rewind Operator:
- Operate inspection, slitter, and rewind tabletop machines to ensure finished product quality
- Read and interpret job tickets prior to machine setup and operation
- Enter job order details into the system and set machine specifications accurately
- Inspect labels for defects, remove imperfections, re-splice rolls, and stamp completed rolls
- Load and unload material onto machines and monitor output using strobe lighting
- Complete quality assurance documentation and follow all inspection procedures
- Maintain clean, organized equipment and workspace, including light machine maintenance
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures
Your skills and experience:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- 3 or more years of previous experience preferred
- Ability to accurately interpret color
