Wood Finisher

Job Location: In-Person, $17-$19/Hour, 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, Overtime Opportunities, Excellent Benefits
Our client is a local manufacturer of furniture and cabinetry, and they want you to join their team as a Wood Finisher.
Your day-to-day as a Wood Finisher:
- Sand and smooth surfaces using hand and power tools
- Apply stains, sealers, and other coatings using various techniques
- Inspect finished surfaces, troubleshoot defects, and perform minor cosmetic repairs
- Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating equipment
- Keep your workspace clean and organized while collaborating to meet production goals
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts
Your skills and experience:
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic painting/finishing products
- Prior finishing/painting, carpentry, cabinet making, millwork, or handyman experience is helpful but not required
- Detail-oriented with pride in workmanship and quality standards
- Team player with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
