Retail Merchandising Analyst

Job Location: In-Person, $55,000-$65,000/year, Full-Time, Excellent Benefits
Our client is a well-established retail organization with multiple store locations, and they want you to join their team as a Retail Merchandising Analyst.
Your day-to-day as a Retail Merchandising Analyst:
- Optimize product selection, pricing, promotions, and store layouts to maximize profitability
- Manage vendor relationships and act as primary buyer for key product categories
- Lead retail system integrations, oversee pricing updates, and ensure smooth cashier interface functionality
- Develop and manage customer loyalty programs and targeted promotional strategies
- Analyze sales data and inventory trends to refine merchandising and replenishment strategies
Your skills and experience:
- 3+ years in merchandising, retail operations, or category management, ideally in a convenience store or similar environment
- Strong computer and analytical skills; comfortable working with retail back-office systems and POS platforms
- Experience managing vendor negotiations and purchasing decisions
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple categories and promotions
- Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional communication skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- Familiarity with C-store retail systems (e.g., PDI, Gilbarco, ADDs)
- Experience with planogram software and loyalty program strategy
- Understanding of retail consumer behavior and promotional tactics
