Wastewater Operator

Job Location: In-Person, $26-$32/Hour (Based on Experience), Day Shift, Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts Available
Our client is an industry leader in nutritional food production, and they want you to join their team as a Wastewater Operator!
Your day-to-day as a Wastewater Operator:
- Operate and maintain treatment facility processes in compliance with regulatory and corporate standards
- Monitor and interpret process indicators, adjusting operations as needed to maintain efficiency
- Perform routine laboratory testing and calibration of instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as pumps, blowers, and mixers
- Communicate with supervisors and management regarding system conditions and necessary adjustments
Your skills and experience:
- State of Vermont Pollution Abatement Facility Operator License required
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment
- Experience performing system monitoring and interpreting test results
- Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and oversee general facility upkeep
