Heavy Equipment Operator

Our client is a leader in manufacturing high-quality, precast concrete products. Explore the trades and join their team as a Heavy Equipment Operator!
Your day-to-day as a Heavy Equipment Operator:
- Operate a Class VII forklift to move precast products throughout the facility and yard
- Load and unload trailers and storage areas safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and ensure proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with annual inventory counts
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience & a valid driver’s license is required
- 2+ years of experience with building/construction is preferred
- Proficient in operating industrial equipment and utilizing hand tools
- Familiarity with or ability to read and interpret safety policies, manuals, and procedures
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written
