Lead Ehs Specialist

Job Location: Remote, $42-$55/Hour, 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6-Month Contract w/ possibility for extension.
Our client is a dynamic organization offering a range of professional opportunities in a fast-paced environment. They are seeking a Lead EHS Specialist to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Lead EHS Specialist:
- Implement and monitor environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives across manufacturing and lab operations
- Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain accurate records of findings and corrective actions
- Deliver EHS training programs, including new hire orientation and equipment licensing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and continuous improvement
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of EHS or related experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines, safety regulations, and EHS best practices
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
