HR Benefits Specialist| DIRECT HIRE| Extensive Benefit Package

Our client is a dynamic industry leader and they are seeking an HR Benefits Specialist to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a HR Benefits Specialist:
- Administer and maintain compensation and benefits programs, including union-based plans in accordance with collective bargaining agreements
- Analyze compensation data, market trends, and internal equity to support competitive pay practices
- Ensure accurate processing of wages, deductions, and benefit contributions across all entities
- Support benefits enrollment, employee education, and communication initiatives
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to compensation and benefits processes for efficiency and compliance
- Lead or participate in special projects related to compensation, benefits, and system implementations
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or combined years of experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, or human resources
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software and ability to learn new programs quickly
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with union environments and administering benefits under collective bargaining agreements preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
