Buyer Planner

Job Location: In-Person, $28-$30/Hour, 1st Shift, Monday-Sunday
A manufacturer specializing in railroad rolling stock and transportation equipment, providing production, maintenance, and component reconditioning services. They are seeking a Buyer Planner to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Buyer Planner:
- Evaluate MRP data to generate purchase orders and manage supply and demand signals
- Maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely order acknowledgment and on-time shipments
- Establish and update stocking strategies and planning parameters for inventory control
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to address shortages and non-conforming parts
Your skills and experience:
- Experience in procurement or sourcing within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain management principles
- Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and analyze cost structures
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
