TIG Welder

Our client is a leading provider of skilled trades staffing solutions, connecting talented individuals with rewarding opportunities in manufacturing and production environments. They are seeking a TIG Welder to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a TIG Welder:
- Read and interpret advanced CAD drawings and weld symbols to plan welding tasks.
- Measure, align, and clamp thin-gauge stainless steel components for precise fit-up.
- Perform high-precision TIG welding on stainless steel materials using proper techniques.
- Set up and monitor inert gas shielding and back-purging systems to protect weld quality.
- Grind, blend, and passivate welds to meet strict cleanroom-ready standards.
- Conduct self-inspections using calipers and gauges to ensure airtight and leak-free joints.
Your skills and experience:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with TIG welding, preferably on thin-gauge stainless steel.
- Familiarity with setting up and using purging and shielding equipment.
- Attention to detail for quality inspections and precise measurements.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Basic understanding of post-weld finishing processes such as grinding and passivation.
