Industrial Sandblaster

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality industrial components and systems, serving a variety of sectors with innovative solutions. They are seeking a Industrial Sandblaster to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Industrial Sandblaster:
- Operate industrial power washers to clean pipes and ductwork before blasting
- Set up and safely operate abrasive sandblasting equipment for surface preparation
- Inspect metal surfaces to ensure a uniform, clean finish prior to coating
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area
- Handle and stage heavy materials using appropriate equipment
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and industrial housekeeping standards
Your skills and experience:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Willingness to learn and operate a forklift after training
- Commitment to quality, safety, and following OSHA guidelines
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/32 inch
- Basic understanding of welding with a desire to learn more
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in other areas as needed
