Sheet Metal Fabricator

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality industrial components and systems for a variety of sectors. They are seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Sheet Metal Fabricator:
- Read and interpret CAD drawings and manufacturing instructions for custom ductwork assemblies
- Measure, mark, cut, and shape sheet metal using shop tools and equipment
- Prepare and clean metal components by deburring, grinding, and sanding edges
- Assemble sheet metal segments and damper components using hand tools and fixtures
- Perform basic tack-welding to secure sub-assemblies for further processing
- Conduct self-inspections using measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy
Your skills and experience:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 inch
- Commitment to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn and operate a forklift after training
- Basic understanding of welding processes and eagerness to develop further skills
- Adaptability to work in various areas and handle shifting priorities
