Project Buyer

Job Location: Remote, Salary: $130,000, Day Shift, Full-Time
A leading global provider of engineered solutions serving diverse industries. They are seeking a Project Buyer to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Project Buyer:
- Execute procurement activities for long-lead and critical project components
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and project management teams to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Act as the primary commercial contact for suppliers and manage supplier performance
- Resolve supplier-related commercial issues and support procurement changes due to engineering updates
- Maintain accurate purchase order status, delivery dates, and confirmations
- Participate in supplier evaluations, audits, and risk mitigation strategies
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 8–15 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing or engineered equipment environments
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing complex procurement packages or project-based purchasing
- Familiarity with technical procurement documentation and regulatory requirements
- Experience in highly regulated industries such as nuclear or energy is preferred
