IT Administrator

Our client is a global manufacturer providing innovative, high-quality packaging solutions to a wide range of industries. They are seeking a IT Administrator to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a IT Administrator:
- Manage and optimize network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Provide 1st and 2nd level end-user support for hardware, network, and system issues across multiple devices
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, ensuring system performance and reliability
- Implement and monitor security policies, manage backups, and support disaster recovery initiatives
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to document systems and support activities
- Monitor and troubleshoot servers, applications, and file systems for stability and resource utilization
Your skills and experience:
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in network administration and support for rugged production equipment
- Hands-on experience with server management in virtual environments such as VMWare, AWS, or Azure
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Perl, or shell scripts
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong customer service orientation with patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
