Your day-to-day as a Halar Coating Process Technician:
- Operate and maintain Halar (ECTFE) coating equipment and ovens to ensure consistent production quality.
- Perform thorough surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting metal components.
- Apply Halar coatings according to standard operating procedures and customer specifications.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections, including visual checks, adhesion testing, and thickness measurements.
Your skills and experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in industrial coating, paint finishing, powder coating, or related manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications and procedures.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a production environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment setup, troubleshooting, and process adjustments.
