Join a reputable organization committed to excellence, employee development and a safe, supportive work environment. They are seeking a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Maintenance Manager:
- Lead and supervise a team of diesel technicians to ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations.
- Coordinate, plan, and schedule all repair and preventative maintenance activities for fleet vehicles.
- Monitor shop performance, control maintenance costs, and manage inventory and vendor relationships.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company, federal, and state safety regulations.
- Provide hands-on maintenance support and training to promote technician growth and development.
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum of 5 years heavy equipment maintenance experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of engine, emission, transmission, brake, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management software preferred.
