Industrial Engineering Manager | DIRECT HIRE | Plattsburgh, NY | Up To $130K

Our client is a manufacturer within the transportation industry, and they want you to join their team as an Industrial Engineering Manager.
Primary Responsibilities for the Industrial Engineering Manager role:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the industrial engineering/methods team while setting performance expectations and KPIs
- Lead process industrialization for new products and oversee manufacturing ramp-up activities
- Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, standardized work instructions, time studies, and process documentation
- Design and optimize plant layouts, material flow, workstation ergonomics, and production processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial methods, or process improvement, preferably in automotive or transportation manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects
- Familiarity with Lean principles, KPI-driven decision-making, and manufacturing systems (ERP/MES); Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
- Ability to travel approximately 25%, including potential overnight trips to Canada
