Tax Accountant | Direct Hire | Lake Placid, NY | Up to $90K

In-Person, $65K–$90K/Year (Based on Experience), Full-Time, Excellent Benefits
Our client is a well-established professional services firm, and they want you to join their team as a Public Accountant.
Your day-to-day as a Public Accountant:
- Work closely with clients to identify, clarify, and resolve complex accounting and tax issues
- Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Develop and analyze financial statements
- Collaborate with team members to provide strategic financial guidance
- Gain expertise in targeted industries and sectors over time
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or CPA designation preferred)
- CPA license or willingness to pursue CPA certification (support provided for exam fees and schooling)
- Experience with tax return preparation and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
