Accounting Specialist

Job Location: In-Person, Up to $28/Hour (Depending on Experience), 1st Shift, Full-Time, 12 Week Temporary Assignment
Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative systems for safe and reliable fume management, and they want you to join their growing team as an Accounting Specialist!
Your day to day as an Accounting Specialist:
- Prepare and send daily customer invoices and monthly account statements
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts; escalate issues when necessary
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate documentation and proper approvals
- Reconcile vendor statements, request missing documents, and process weekly payments
- Maintain high attention to detail and professionalism in all financial tasks
Your skill set includes:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable/Payable principles and ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software
- Basic knowledge of sales tax reporting is a plus
- Strong time management and communication skills
