$21-$25/Hour (Depending on Experience), Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Our client is a trusted leader in precision manufacturing, specializing in delivering high-quality components and solutions for a variety of industries, and they want you to join their team as a Maintenance Assistant.
Your day-to-day as a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant:
- Perform preventative and general maintenance tasks across facilities
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment, rooms, and systems to ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
- Assist in organizing and overseeing maintenance resolutions
- Transport maintenance materials, equipment, and chemicals between locations as needed
Your skills and experience:
- High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and light electrical work
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and maintenance manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes is a plus
