Senior Design Engineer

Our client manufactures essential electrical equipment for diverse industries globally, and they want you to join their team as a Senior Design Engineer!
Your day-to-day as a Senior Design Engineer:
- Conduct diverse engineering analyses using specialized software
- Generate reports summarizing simulation results and recommend design optimizations
- Utilize various design software for hydraulic system development
- Support unit design tasks including engineering, compliance, and progress reporting
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager in strategy, task prioritization, and employee development
- Advocate for and suggest improvements in mechanical design processes and tools
- Offer comprehensive technical support throughout sales, service, and manufacturing phases to ensure compliance and optimal performance
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in design and analysis of industrial rotating machinery (pumps, turbines, compressors), concentration in power generation or chemical process industries is a plus
- Professional Engineer Registration is preferred, or the ability to obtain
- Proficient in SolidWorks, ANSYS, MathCad, and Microsoft Office
- Solid understanding of relevant codes and regulations,
- Ability to conduct stress and thermal analysis, as well as read and interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications
