Senior Cost Accountant

$80K-$90K Salary (Based on Experience), Full-Time, Day Shift

A local Vermont company with a long history of manufacturing commercial products for the hospitality industry wants you to join their growing team as a Senior Cost Accountant!

Your day-to-day as a Senior Cost Accountant:

• Manage inventory reserves, standard cost calculations, and support purchasing, sales, and production teams
• Oversee cycle count results, analyze budgets, and perform monthly account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate capital asset records and financial reporting
• Provide analytical support to various departments, enhancing data-driven decision-making

Your skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred
• Minimum of 3 years in cost accounting, ideally in manufacturing
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office; ERP systems familiarity is a plus
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
