Junior Electrical Engineer

$90K-$110K Salary (Based on Experience), Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Our client is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as a Junior Electrical Engineer.
Your day-to-day as a Junior Electrical Engineer:
- Design both AC and DC electrical systems for mobile energy storage solutions
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to create general arrangement (GA) designs for customers
- Develop single-line diagrams and wiring schematics for customer-specific applications
- Conduct fault current analysis, circuit protection, and arc flash hazard evaluations
- Provide support in system commissioning and troubleshooting in the field when needed
Your skills and experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems and battery technologies
- Familiarity with 3-phase power systems and National Electric Code (NEC) standards
- Experience with power systems engineering, including inverters and high-voltage DC systems
- Proficiency in design software like EPLAN, and office tools like MS Word and Excel
