Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client, a large importer and manufacturer in Georgia, Vermont, wants you to join their growing and trusted team as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
Your day-to-day as a Quality Assurance Engineer:
- Define, develop, and maintain quality programs with performance metrics
- Conduct problem-solving activities for process improvement
- Establish and uphold inspection, testing, and evaluation standards
- Investigate product quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Plan and oversee product analysis, design, and testing for quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and lead corrective action program
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with experience in firearm production, tooling, and machining
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Computer Savvy – Knowledge of CAD, CMM software, and other similar programs
- Enjoy physical work – Able to bend, squat, and lift up to 35lbs as needed
