EHS Manager|Plattsburgh, NY

$85K-$95K Annual Salary, Full-Time
Our client is leading sustainable transportation innovation, and they want you to join their team as an EHS Manager.
Your day-to-day as an EHS Manager:
- Support site management in achieving EHS performance and implement EHS policies
- Prepare, deploy, and monitor the local EHS plan and ensure risk assessments are conducted
- Lead, coach, and develop the site EHS team, and conduct EHS induction programs
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards, statutory requirements, and manage documentation
- Report, investigate, and analyze accidents/incidents, and conduct internal EHS audits
Your skills and experience:
- Degree in Engineering or Business and recognized Health & Safety qualification
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar EHS role, experience with manufacturing sites or regional centers is preferred
- Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO45001, and local legal requirements
- Proficient in computer skills and continuous improvement tools
- Strong teamwork, leadership, analytical, and communication skills
