Automation Technician | 1st Shift

$32-$36+/Hour, Excellent Benefits, 12-Hour Day Shift, Rotating Schedule
Our client is an industry leader in nutritional food production, and they want you to join their team as an Automation Technician!
Your day-to-day as an Automation Technician:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose various plant control systems and instrumentation devices
- Calibrate electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical instrumentation and maintain documentation
- Install, maintain, and repair plant control systems and equipment
- Review system drawings and equipment manuals
- Interface with vendors and provide training to others
- Ensure accurate documentation of work following standard procedures
Your skills and experience:
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or minimum 3 years of equivalent experience is required
- Enjoy physical work – Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 55 lbs
- Proficient in SLC/PLC programming and hardware architecture
- Experience in calibrating and maintaining electronic/pneumatic instrumentation, controls, and PLC systems
- Ability to maintain accurate calibration records and interpret drawings
