Our client is the largest mattress store in the state of New York is growing and they want you to join their team as a Warehouse Operations Manager in their East Hartford, CT location.

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, your ability to create positive team dynamic will guide your role in managing the daily distribution operations. 

Your day-to-day as a Warehouse Operations Manager:

• Directs the management of the company’s distribution center
• Lead and assist a team of 10-15 warehouse employees
• Oversee the daily task of receiving merchandise from vendors
• Maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy in the warehouse and updates VP of Operations and CFO of results of weekly cycle counts
• Responsible for training, development, and monitoring performance of warehouse personnel
• Maintain an ongoing safety-training program and ensuring compliance
• Continuously look for new ways to improve efficiency, and maintain open communication with executive management

Your Skills and Knowledge as a Warehouse Operations Manager:

• Ability to read and interpret inventory reports
• Basic computer skills knowledge, and ability to learn and master inventory control software programs.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and communication
• Ensuring adherence to all company and safety procedures and policies
