Press Operator

$24/Hour, 2nd Shift
A local, daily newspaper is looking for a Press Operator to join their team!
Your day-to-day as a Press Operator:
- Operate press machines and equipment, while meeting production rates and performing preventative maintenance as needed
- Monitor quality control procedures to ensure print jobs have proper specifications and meet customer requirements
- Cross-train in all facets of pressroom production, creating efficient workflow and training initiatives
- Follow all safety and cleanliness procedures
Your skills and experience:
- Printing and/or press experience preferred
- Able to bend, squat and lift up to 50lbs
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Team-oriented – can effectively communicate with team members
